Precious Metals Soar to Record Peak

LONDON, May 11 (Reuters) - Heavy speculative buying fuelled by inflation fears and geopolitical tensions propelled gold to its highest for 26 years and silver to a level not seen in 25 years, while platinum soared to a record peak.

We shake our heads in disbelief, as the price of silver reaches nearly CAD$16.00 per ounce. What are we going to do? As the creators behind Izzy and Buds, we pride ourselves in being able to offer exceptionally elegant jewelry at irresistibly affordable prices. Being a precious metal, silver prices are notoriously volatile and have been fluctuating much like gold has. Unless we experience another Silver Thursday, it appears it has now hit a point of no return.

Yesterday, we had a blooming day at the VGH Spring Craft Show but in secret, we felt turmoil regarding our future as artists and entrepreneurs. So as we sip our cups of java and ponder life, we ask ourselves, "Can we afford to continue?", we agree that we can't afford NOT to. Along with cooking and music, designing jewelry is a creative outlet that provides inner balance to Jesee and tames the beast within him. The self-satisfaction he feels each time he sees a woman wearing one of his original pieces is worth its weight in gold silver.
